Established in 1988, GAPA envisions a powerful QTAPI community that is seen, heard, and celebrated. Our mission is to organize community gatherings, provide access to resources, and advocate for our queer and transgender Asian and Pacific Islander (QTAPI) family and our allies.

GAPA Fund, GAPA’s fiscal sponsor, is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity founded in 2019.

Providing dedicated support for GAPA’s autonomous arts programs such as GAPA Men’s Chorus and GAPA Theatre, the GAPA Fund has a mission to empower and advance queer and transgender Asian American and Pacific Islander voices by uplifting them through arts and cultural programs to foster understanding, visibility, and change.
