Membership has its rewards and GAPA is no exception!
Some of the reasons for becoming a part of GAPA are:

• Support a worthwhile organization.
• Make new friends.
• Become part of a supportive "family" especially if you are just coming out.
• Stay connected with current social and political issues.
• Develop a positive self-image.
• Promote visibility.
• Improve your leadership skills by working with other gay & bisexual Asian/Pacific Islanders on issues that affect you.
• If you want to compete at the Runway Pageant.

There are many other reasons members have in joining GAPA. Ultimately, the decision to join is a personal one. GAPA is an excellent place to start integrating all the gay & bisexual and Asian/Pacific Islander sensibilities.
